Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

We want our community to be safe and comfortable for all users. Eligibility requirements include:

• You must be at least 18 years old to use ConnexSoul independently.
• Users below 18 years of age may use the platform only with parent or legal guardian consent, where permitted by law.
• Users below 13 years of age are strictly not permitted to use or register accounts on the platform under any circumstances.

2. User Accounts

When creating and maintaining an account on ConnexSoul, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Protecting your login passwords and authentication codes.
• All activities conducted on the platform through or under your account name.

3. Community Standards

ConnexSoul is built on respect, authenticity, and meaningful engagement. To maintain a healthy digital ecosystem, users must NOT engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Harass, threaten, cyberbully, or intentionally abuse others.
• Publish, post, or distribute hate speech, bigotry, or discriminatory content.
• Impersonate individuals or organizations to mislead, defraud, or spam others.
• Spread spam, deceptive links, or fraudulent, misleading content.
• Share illegal, harmful, obscene, or adult materials.
• Violate privacy, confidentiality, or image rights of other community members.
• Promote terrorism, violence, hate organizations, or criminal activities.
• Share child exploitation or abusive materials.
• Infringe intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights of others.

Violations of these standards may result in immediate content removal, group restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination of platform access.

4. Content Ownership & Licenses

The Permissions You Give Us: We need certain permissions from you to provide, host, and improve our services:

1. Your Content

Some content that you share or upload, such as photos, writings, or videos, may be protected by intellectual property laws. You retain complete ownership of the intellectual property rights in any such content that you create and share on ConnexSoul. Nothing in these Terms takes away the rights you have to your own content. You are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you want.

2. Permission to use content that you create and share

Specifically, when you share, post, or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Products, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content. This license is solely for the purposes of operating and improving our products and services. It will end when your content is deleted from our systems.

3. Deleting your content

You can delete individual content that you share, post, and upload at any time. In addition, all content posted to your personal account will be deleted if you delete your account. Account deletion does not automatically delete content that you post as an admin of a Page or content that you create collectively with other users, such as photos in Shared Albums that may continue to be visible to other album members. It may take up to 90 days to delete content after we have begun the account deletion process or received a content deletion request.

4. Permission to use your name, profile picture, and activity

You give us permission to use your name, profile picture, and information about actions that you have taken on ConnexSoul next to or in connection with ads, offers, and other sponsored or commercial content that we display across our Products, without any compensation to you.

5. Community Moderation

ConnexSoul reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, restrict, remove, or disable access to any content, groups, or user accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable laws, at our sole discretion.

6. Advertising

ConnexSoul may display advertisements, sponsored content, business promotions, and community offers. The appearance of advertisements does not constitute endorsement by ConnexSoul.

7. Events and Meetups

ConnexSoul may facilitate discovery of local meetups, conferences, and student events. Participation in any physical or hybrid meetups is completely voluntary and at your own risk. ConnexSoul is not responsible for the conduct of event organizers, attendees, or venue operations.

8. Business Profiles

Businesses and organizations on the platform are solely and independently responsible for their products, services, representations, marketing, promotions, and absolute legal compliance.

9. Limitation of Liability

ConnexSoul is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConnexSoul shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate account access if you:

• Violate these Terms or Platform Community Guidelines.
• Engage in illegal or highly suspicious activities.
• Create security, malware, or vulnerability risks for the platform.
• Harm, intimidate, or pose safety threats to other users or communities.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes your full acceptance of the updated terms.
